Potassium Chloride (KCl) USP & FCC
Potassium Chloride (KCl) is used extensively by the pharmaceutical and food industries to
provide a number of functional benefits including sodium reduction and nutrient replacement.
It is also used as a reagent in laboratory testing, as a reducing agent in the high purity
metals industry, in the production of photographic film and in buffering solutions. These
products differ according to particle size and screen analysis. Further information is

Products include:
- Standard - USP/FCC and ACS Grades
- Free-Flowing - A 20-60 mesh USP/FCC granule with no additives, that resists hardening
and caking for up to 12 weeks.
- Superfine - A 100-200 mesh USP/FCC powder for use in microencapsulation.
- Controlled Particle Size - Customized crystal sizes and shapes made to customer
specifications.
Customized blends containing flow agents are also available.
All grades are available in 250 lb. fiber drums, 50 lb. bags and 50-100 kg drums.
